Specialties from our Breakfast Menu
Our full menu breakfast menu is offered weekends in spring and fall and everyday July and 1st half of August.
Full Menu breakfast is weekends only starting starting Saturday August 26th until October 8th.
Guests receive a continental breakfast of coffee, tea, juice, toast and coffee cake, when our full menu is not available.
A crepe style pancake, rolled and sprinkled with powdered sugar.
Norwegian Grilled Toast
Made with our homemade white bread, dipped in an egg batter and crumb coating and grilled to a crisp finish. Excellent with either syrup or some of our homemade cherry rhubarb jam.
Two of our Icelandic pancakes filled with cream and yogurt and topped with warm cherry sauce, a true treat in the Scandinavian tradition. In Iceland, it is served as a dessert, but we prefer it as a breakfast treat.
Cinnamon Coffee Cake
A generous wedge of our homemade crumb cake.
A Swedish bread made with a combination of light rye and whole wheat flour.
Norwegian Christmas bread. A yeast bread filled with citron and raisins, flavored with cardamom.
For a hot mocha treat, try our hot chocolate made with coffee and whipped in a blender.
Cherry Rhubarb Jam
Made with Door County cherries and organic Island grown rhubarb, this jam has the tangy sweet taste which compliments our homemade toasted breads or pancakes.
